From an over 35s dance party taking place in Soho, to a Rainbow Umbrella Market in Street 66, there is plenty to be doing in Dublin this weekend.

Tarot Card Workshop

Whether you're a seasoned tarot reader or a curious beginner, The Clockwork Door's upcoming workshop is the perfect opportunity to explore the art and symbolism of tarot cards while creating your own unique deck. Located at 51 Wellington Quay, the event will run on Saturday, 31 August, from 6pm - 8pm. Tickets cost €12.

Over 35s Dance Party

Dublin's first over 35s nightclub is set to launch in the brand new Soho Dublin on Saturday, 31 August. With great tunes on offer, this new weekly event will deliver a night dedicated to those who want to relive the glory days of Dublin's club scene. Doors open at 5:30pm and event wraps up at 10:30pm. Admission costs €12.50 per person, includes a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival.

The Dirty Circus

On Friday, August 30, The Dirty Circus will be hosting a night of drag, burlesque, and pole cabaret at The Grand Social on Liffey Street from 7pm - 10:30pm. The show will include performances from drag artist Guy Queen, rollerskater Kay, and burlesque performer Bear Lee There. Tickets cost €20.

Rainbow Umbrella Market

Street 66 - one of Dublin's best-known gay bars - is set to host their monthly Rainbow Umbrella Market, this time under the theme of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. On Sunday, September 1, attendees can expect a vibrant market filled with Taylor-inspired goodies, music, and, of course, a rainbow of umbrellas! The free event runs from 12pm - 5pm. Tickets are not required but all ticket holders will get a free themed sticker on the day.

Bottle Lamp Making Workshop

Emmet Bosonnet is the owner and founder of Kopper Kreation, an industrial homewares brand that uses reclaimed and recycled materials to create unique and eye-catching pieces. On Saturday, 31 August, Emmet will be hosting a demonstration in Ballymun's Rediscovery Centre from 11am - 12:30pm, showing attendees how to turn an old glass drinks bottle into a new lamp. Tickets cost €25.
